With water problems in basements we usually do a perimeter drain. Surrounding the home with a trench filled with rock and a pipe. There is also a fabric. Our system is our own. It's well estrablished and the best in the business. If water is coming from underground and you want to get rid of it. This is the way.
Our system also helps with your stability of your basement walls. Meaning less prone to cracking. We stop the hydrodynamic loads on your basement walls. The interior perimeter drains don't do that. So, very little load on your basement walls means less crack prone. Less cracks also leads to less leakage. And our system means no leakage. Unless you have a spring under your home. Then, it helps, but you need to find a outlet for the spring. Our systems are better at doing that too. Since we surround your home.
This is one of our premier jobs. We are very skilled in this. Even when we have large problems, the jobs get done.
Plastic soil is a problem. We've dug 3 feet down and hit a slurry mix. the rest of the dig to 8 ft lasted 30min at 16in. After that it was a 8ft wide hole. Meaning it collapsed. We made it right. Client got an even better system. More rock and more of a drain field. And yes, it was like that all the way around the home. No wonder they had problems.
We also can do the landscaping afterwards to make it look finished. Or your welcome to do it. Or have someone else do it. But if we add it into the job, you get a better discount. Bigger job, bigger discount.
